Description
I do hope you like this Steampunk Rotating Earth Globe Widget. This Konfabulator/ yahoo widget provides a simple rotating globe that can rotate at two speeds. The animation comes from thirty six medium resolution images, played one after the other, frame by frame giving a simulation of the rotating earth.
Shown above layered on top my orrery widget, just making changes to that too so that it will incorporate the spinning earth function by default. This is now version 1.0.1 which fixes a bug with regard to running commands on Mac OS/X and it also makes sure it does not get lost too when pushed too far off-screen.
The widget needs to have the Konfabulator/Yahoo Widget engine which you can get here

This widget works with Windows XP SP3 and has been tested on Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS/X.

Instructions for running Yahoo widgets on Mac OS/X, all recent versions including Sierra.
Edit the following file:
com.yahoo.widgetengine.plist which is in /Users/xxx/Library/Preferences. Look for these lines: <key>DockOpen</key>
<string>false</string>
Change to false if it is true.
Then you should be able to start Yahoo! Widgets and the menubar item should appear. Widgets can then be started from the menubar or by double-clicking them in the usual way.

does this work on windows 10?
