Customization / Icons / Dock Icons

Here is another one of a bunch of steampunk icons that I have created that will leave your Windows or Mac desktop looking absolutely spiffing. There is a whole set of the little thingies and I must say they do look very steampunk indeed! They really are a suitable replacement for the boring old default icons that come with Windows, Rocketdock, ObjectDock &c.

This is the icon that I use for launching Microsoft's File Explorer program - explorer.exe. This program can hang your system when you do any normal operation like copy a lot of files from a CD to a hard drive and so I despise the thing. Therefore like all Microsoft programs it must have an appropriate icon.

You could use it for Google's Chrome Browser. Google is becoming a behemoth and they ARE watching you. Did you know that every time that you use Google Chrome you feedback information regarding your browsing habits to Google, bet you didn't know that? The all-seeing eye of Sauron may be better suited to Google.

This icon and the others like it will spruce up your desktop and give it a bit of Victorian class. Compatible with MobyDock, ObjectDock, RK Launcher, and your default Windows icons.

Rocketdock Installation: In the rocketdock folder there is a subfolder called icons. Move these icons into that folder or create a subfolder called steampunk icons and copy them in there. Then you simply change each of your individual icon images to any one of these. Easy enough.
