Steampunk PIM (Personal Information Manager) icon by yereverluvinuncleber Steampunk PIM (Personal Information Manager) icon by yereverluvinuncleber
This is an old-fashioned glass, paper, leather, wood and brass icon designed to appeal to the steampunk mind, I suggest it might be a useful replacement for any PIM (Personal Information Manager) icon that you might have on your desktop - you can of course use it for anything you wish. Personally, I use it for Lotus Organiser 6.1.

This icon is eminently usable on windows/ Mac OS/X / Linux &c. Download at the bottom of this page.

## VOTE VOTE VOTE I SAY YOU LOVELY CHAPS DO COMMENT IF YOU LIKE THIS ONE !!! ## - E ## (Even a one small comment helps enormously ;-) )

This PNG is larger and has more detail so that you can resize if you wish or use "as-is". I will be creating .ICO and .ICNS icons from this later.

Here is just one more over 180 steampunk icons that I have created over the last 180 days (one a day for the next half a year!) that will leave your Windows or Mac desktop looking absolutely spiffing. There is a whole set of the little thingies and I must say they do look very steampunk indeed! They really are a suitable replacement for the boring old default icons that come with Rocketdock/ObjectDock &c.

This icon and the others like it will spruce up your desktop and give it a bit of Victorian class. Compatible with MobyDock, ObjectDock, RK Launcher, and your default Windows icons.

To View: - You can see all my icons by clicking here: rocketdock.com/user/107284/add…

To Download : - I have created a couple of steampunk icon sets but you can download the main one here:
rocketdock.com/addon/icons/383…

If you want any new icons then just ask! I am always open to new (or old) ideas - please leave a comment, these icons are quite hard to do and a nice comment makes my day.

Rocketdock Installation: In the rocketdock folder there is a subfolder called icons. Move these icons into that folder or create a subfolder called steampunk icons and copy them in there. Then you simply change each of your individual icon images to any one of these. Easy enough.

The only condition for downloading and using is that you leave feedback. Please leave a message and rate the icons as it is the only payment I get for creating this small desktop addition :D

You may use any of my images in your own creations but commercially only with my permission. In all cases I require a credit to the original artist using my name or pseudonym and a link to my own site.

Thanks! Do enjoy the icon.
Download at the top, that's it, just there. Ooh yes, that's lovely, thankyou.

Load Rocketdock or objectdock. Each comes with its own set of standard icons. Download mine and place them in the icons folder under the Rocketdock folder. Then simply change each icon to one of mine.

Right clicking on each icon brings up the dialog to change the icon. Easy.

Of course you know where to find it, on the internet just where you'd find everything... type rocketdock in google. It is all very easy I assure you.

even so, a quick search on google will assist you, always try that first. That is what it is there for, a source of knowledge at your fingertips.

And SO expensive - I never had one because I could not believe the excessive cost of the thing - and the refills... People can be such gullible fools at times. I have the virtual version, Lotus Organiser 6.1 which on the desktop looks quite similar to my steampunk version. In fact I was thinking about 'steampunkifying' the whole app.

Thanks, just a test post using the new submit page to see how it is progressing. It still has one flaw as far as I am concerned which is the name field can only contain 49 characters. This is a limit compared to the old page.
